AscendEX (BitMax) Tax Guide

Crypto Tax Calculator allows you to easily calculate your taxes when trading on AscendEX (BitMax). All you have to do is import your trading data via CSV or the API, and we will automatically normalize these transactions back to your local currency. You can then easily calculate your financial year short term and long term gains using various in-app inventory methods.
Import via API Keys
- Log in to your AscendEX account
- Click on the avatar icon in the top right corner
- Click on 'API Setting' and click 'New API key'
- Check the ‘View’ Permission for the key, and enter your email verification code and 2FA code
- Click 'Generate API key'
- Copy across your API key and Secret and click sync
Import via Order History CSV File
- Log in to your AscendEX account
- Select 'My Order' (https://bitmax.io/en/order/cash-order)
- Click 'Request to Export'
- You can then click the button on the right 'My Exported Files' and download the file once complete
